Projeto Arte com Ciência como a ganhar corpo

O projeto Arte com Ciência visa despertar o interesse de alunos do ensino médio pelas ciências naturais e exatas, através de uma abordagem que integra arte, ciência e ecologia.

O projeto envolve 4 escolas estaduais do território sul sergipano e tem como principais espaços as feiras escolares de arte, ciência e ecologia, a serem realizados no mês de outubro, concomitante com a Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia, e o ambiente de redes de conhecimento "guigoh", desenvolvido pelo IPTI para suportar produção e compartilhamento de objetos educacionais, em formato multimídia. No momento estamos realizando oficinas de Cultura Digital, para capacitar alunos e professores para produção multimídia, cada escola recebeu um laboratório completo de registro, edição e publicação multimídia, e já começamos a ajudar alunos e professores das escolas envolvidas para a elaboração dos dispositivos a serem expostos nas feiras escolares de 2011.

Art & Science projects begins to take shape – Art with Science project aims to foster interest between secondary scholars by the natural and exact sciences through an approach that integrates art, science and ecology.

The project involves 4 secondary public schools, in the southern region of Sergipe, and its high moment are the school fairs of art, science and ecology, to be held in October, paralell with the National Week of Science and Technology. The project is also based on the use of the knowledge network environment "guigoh "developed by IPTI to support production and sharing of educational materials in multimedia format. We are currently conducting workshops for Digital Culture, to enable students and teachers for multimedia production. Each school received a complete multimedia lab that make possible recording, editing and publishing multimedia files and we have begun to help students and teachers of the schools involved in the preparation of devices to be exposed at school fairs, 2011.

Reunião da equipe de museologia do projeto Museu Guigó

No último dia 07 de junho de 2011 reuniram-se na cidade de Marselha, na França, a equipe de museólogos que vai trabalhar na elaboração do conceito do Museu Guigó – Arte, Ciência e Tecnologia, a ser construído no Povoado do Crasto, com recursos captados com incentivo fiscal da Lei Rouanet. Esta equipe é formado por Rob La Frenais, Stephen Feber e Peter Richards, e coordenada pela Bronac Ferran, da Boundary Objects. Bronac é uma das mentoras do The Human Project e conseguiu estruturar esta fantástica e comprometida equipe de especialistas internacionais, para nos ajudar a elaborar o conceito museológico, o qual vai nortear os projetos que competirão no concurso internacional de arquitetura, 1a fase do projeto do Museu Guigó.

Team of museologists meet in France – last June 7th, 2011 met in Marseilles, France, the team of curators who will work in developing the concept of the Guigó Museum - Art, Science and Technology, to be built in the Village Crasto, with resources proceeds of the tax incentive mechanism Rouanet Law. This team is composed of Rob La Frenais, Stephen Richards and Peter Ferber, and coordinated by Bronac Ferran, from Boundary Objects. Bronac is one of the mentors of The Human Project and was able to structure this fantastic and committed team of international experts to assist us in developing the museum concept, which will guide the projects that will compete in the international architectural competition, the first phase of the Museum Guigó project .

Fellicia: nosso primeiro spin-off

O projeto Cultura em Foco está finalmente chegando na fase de comercialização dos produtos, quando esperamos que todo o esforço empreendido tenha sido suficiente para gerar renda para as famílias dos artesãos, diretamente envolvidos e beneficiados. Para isso, construimos, de forma participativa, um modelo de arranjo institucional que engloba uma empresa comercial (Fellicia – nome da artesã mais antiga do grupo), uma associação dos artesãos e o IPTI, responsável pelo contínuo processo de inovação e de geração de novos produtos. A empresa e a associação estão em fase final de estruturação, bem como o site de e-commerce, a partir do qual os produtos serão comercializados. Em breve vamos divulgar o endereço do site, mas já adiantamos a logomarca da empresa Fellicia.

Fellicia: our first spin-off – Culture in Focus project is finally reaching the stage of products commercialization, when we expect that all efforts done has been enough to generate income for artisans families directly involved with the project. To this end, we built in a participatory way a model of institutional arrangement that includes a trading company (Fellicia - name of the oldest artisan), an association of artisans and IPTI responsible for the continuous process of innovation and generating new products. The company and the association are in the final stages of structuring, as well as the e-commerce site, from which the products will be commercialized. Soon we will announce the web site address, but we have advanced below the Fellicia's logo.

Visita do Secretário do Turismo de Sergipe

No dia 20 de maio de 2011 o Secretário de Estado do Turismo de Sergipe, Sr. Élber Batalha, visitou a sede do IPTI no Crasto e conheceu detalhes do projeto “Plano de Gestão Participativa do Turismo de Santa Luzia do Itanhy", o qual é coordenado pelo IPTI, com apoio do Ministério do Turismo, e em parceria com a Secretaria de Estado do Turismo de Sergipe.

Nesta visita, o Secretário Élber Batalha teve a oportunidade de conhecer melhor os projetos que o IPTI desenvolve na região de Santa Luzia, bem como conhecer a área onde o IPTI irá construir o Museu Guigó – Arte, Ciência e Tecnologia, nosso espaço científico-tecnológico, que terá importante papel de dinamizador do turismo na região sul de Sergipe.

Visit of the Sergipe's State Secretary for Tourism – on May 20th, 2011 the Secretary of State for Tourism of Sergipe, Mr. Elber Batalha, visited the headquarters of the IPTI Crasto and knew details of the project "Participatory Management Plan of Tourism of Santa Luzia do Itanhy", which is coordinated by IPTI, with support from the Ministry of Tourism, in partnership with the Secretary of State for Tourism of Sergipe.

On this visit, the Secretary Elber Batalha had the opportunity to learn more about the projects that IPTI develops in the region of Santa Luzia, and know the area where IPTI will build the Guigó Museum - Art, Science and Technology, our scientific and cultural space, which will play an important role in driving the tourism in the southern region of Sergipe.
