CVT

CVT is the acronym of Centro Vocacional Tecnológico (Vocational Technological Center) and it is a program from the Brazilian Federal government, through the Ministry for Science and Technology (MCT), in partnership with the state governments, to build a minimum infrastructure (civil construction, equipments) to install a center for support of local productive demands as well as science education. MCT has promised to support a small CVT (250 square meters) in Santa Luzia do Itanhy focused on Art, Science and Technology.

The state government is just to send the proposal and we expect that by September or October our CVT can be approved by MCT. If so, by June 2010 we will have the 1^st cell of the future center for Art, Science and Technology.
